Today Upcoming Phones, in this article, I will be showcasing Upcoming Phones 06 smartphones set to launch in May 2024, and many of these devices are incredibly exciting. If you’re considering buying a new phone, it’s worth waiting for these releases. This article will provide valuable insights, making the wait worthwhile.\

1- Samsung F55

So, the first smartphone on the list is from Samsung. This isn’t just any regular phone; it stands out because, after a long time, it will feature a Snapdragon processor. Additionally, it boasts a vegan leather finish, making it the first Samsung phone with this texture. It will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, and its price is expected to range between $300.12 and $360.15 (₹25,000 to ₹30,000).

Considering the specifications and the price, given Samsung’s brand value, it seems reasonably good. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 at this price point. Apart from this, the phone will have a 120 Hz Super AMOLED panel and a 50-megapixel triple camera setup. So far, on paper, the phone looks quite promising.

2- Samsung F35 and M35

Additionally, two more smartphones will be launched by Samsung: the Samsung F35 and M35. These phones will essentially be identical, with one being exclusive to Amazon and the other to Flipkart. To avoid favoring either platform, Samsung releases the same phone under different names. Both models will feature the Exynos 1380 processor, a 6.6-inch AMOLED panel, a 5000 mAh battery, and a 50 MP triple camera setup. These specifications are similar to previous Samsung models.

In my opinion, the standout feature of these phones is the inclusion of an AMOLED display in the price range of $180.07 to $240.10 (₹15,000 to ₹20,000), as very few brands offer AMOLED panels at this price point nowadays.

3- Vivo and IQOO

Now, let’s move on to IQOO and VIVO phones. Recently, we saw the VIVO T3X launched in the $180.07 to $240.10 (₹15,000 to ₹20,000) price range. I didn’t find it that impressive. The same phone will now be released by IQOO as the IQOO Z9X, with the same specifications and display, but a different design to distinguish the two models. It will feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and the same camera setup. The specifications are quite average; I used the VIVO variant, and it wasn’t as good as the Motorola G64. However, since it’s from IQOO, it will offer some extra gaming features, making it a good option for gaming enthusiasts.

4- Vivo V30E

This phone is priced at ₹25,000, but it features a processor typically found in ₹12,000 phones, such as the Vivo T3X. It comes with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, which is disappointing for a ₹25,000 device. Last year, we reviewed the Vivo VE series, and its camera performance was poor, largely because the image signal processor (ISP) depends on the quality of the processor, which was weak. This phone seems to be marketed primarily for its curved display and design, but I don’t think it’s worth ₹25,000. What do you think? Tell us by writing in comment section

5- Vivo X Fold 3

Vivo is launching an exciting new smartphone. According to rumors and leaks, their foldable phone, the Vivo X Fold 3, will debut this month. Having used their previous foldable phone, I found it to be very solid. The Vivo X Fold 3 will feature a 50MP triple camera setup. The fold display is virtually crease-free, and it will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 120 Hz refresh rate, 4500 nits peak brightness, a 5000 mAh battery, and 80W charging. The specs look promising, and the previous variant was impressive. If you’re in the market for a foldable phone, I recommend waiting for this one.

6- Motorola Edge 50 Neo

The Motorola Neo Series was very popular last time, and now the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is set to launch soon. It will feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and a 5000 mAh battery, along with a 144 Hz refresh rate, ensuring great smoothness. The phone will have a dual camera setup with a 50 MP ultra-wide or telephoto lens (details are still unclear), a 16 MP front camera, and an IP68 rating. Priced around ₹25,000, the phone looks solid based on what we’ve seen. Our experience with last year’s Neo series was also positive, so it’s worth waiting for this smartphone.
